Telkom has truly astounded me! After having written about my decison to get ADSL, I have received my ADSL line and router within 24 hours of making the application. I really couldn’t believe it, especially since I have been hearing about the horror stories of some people waiting months to have their line provisioned for ADSL.

I think I must have just been extremely lucky! I won’t go as far as to say that I am suddenly a big fan of Telkom’s but I will say that in my eyes they have certainly improved their image slightly. I’m still paying an excessively high line rental but atleast now I don’t feel totally neglected be them, as some people have been!

What do you think? Does Telkom deserve some recognition for a job well done? Or was I just one of the lucky minority? Let me know…
