Your favourite blogs?

I would like to start working on a redesign of my blog in the next month or so and would love to know what you would suggest I do? In order to create the best blog possible I want to try and incorporate as many of your favourite features on other blogs into mine. Initially I decided to use a very basic template and focus mainly on writing good content. Now that I have a some good articles and a decent readership, I would like to make my blog more interesting and user friendly.
