September 28th, 2008I recently read a fantastic series of posts written by Brian Gardner in which he talks about how he achieved success in the WordPress theme industry and I just couldn’t resist sharing this. After reading part one and two, I felt inspired and encouraged to pursue my dreams and goals.
Sometimes things just seem so impossible, but if you persevere and work hard towards the goals you have set, they become more and more achievable and realistic. I just thought I would share a little of what was going through my mind when I sat down to design my latest theme. I was getting really tired of looking at my previous theme and it was beginning to affect my blogging negatively. Thus began the redesign…

The latest installment, in my never ending process of redesigns, has finally arrived. I will be writing a detailed post about the design process, and the thinking behind it, shortly. I was looking to create something relatively unique and personal, since this is my personal blog and should therefore be reflection of my personality.

I can then answer specifics instead of just writing an overall article.

A new top level domain name will be available very soon! It’s targeted at personal websites such as blogs, etc. It could be a really great opportunity to get a domain name that is very unique and descriptive! You could register domains such as help.me, scare.me, see.me and many more.
It could also be an interesting marketing tool for creative businesses. Whatever you do with it, I highly reccommend you check it out for yourself. Also, if you have any creative domain name ideas…why not share them here. I would love to hear any opinions on this one (more…)
