Tyler Reed and the guys from Unique have developed a pretty awesome Wordpress plugin that allows you to broaden your potential reader base to that of mobile users. Basically, from my understanding, the plugin will allow you to have a mobile version of your WordPress blog that is optimised for a particular mobile phone. They are also in the process of developing a plugin for the I-phone which will do something pretty similar.

Do you you work harder on projects that are for yourself or for a client who is paying good money for your best efforts? This is a question that came up recently while I was chatting away on twitter the other night, and I thought I would just put it out there and see what you think.

Most people answered yes, and this lead me to ask another question…is that really ethical? Should we not give our all when we are being paid to do something? With the announcement from Brian Gardner that he will be offering his Revolution Themes free to the public as of 31 October. The WordPress community has gone into a bit of a flat spin. There have been quite mixed reactions from people, but many are asking the question…”what has really prompted this move?”. I think it will be great for the community as a whole, but I also think that it might be a little bit premature, as there is obviously still quite a high demand for these “premium” themes. I recently read a fantastic series of posts written by Brian Gardner in which he talks about how he achieved success in the WordPress theme industry and I just couldn’t resist sharing this. After reading part one and two, I felt inspired and encouraged to pursue my dreams and goals.
